Why we recommended?
- Vedanta share price had fallen due to a failed delisting attempt by the promoter. LIC did not tender its holding in the company as it determined the ‘fair value’ of the stock as Rs. 320 per share, partly due to 65% ownership in Hindustan Zinc.
- We advised our members to buy the stock at Rs. 101 on 12th Oct 2020. After 16 months, in Feb 2022, we gave an exit call at Rs. 350, delivering a 350% return.
